Interesting fact:

Broccoli is considered a dish with a negative caloric value. These foods cause the body consumes more calories for digestion than these products contain. By the way, the caloric value of broccoli is very low: only 34 kcal per 100 grams.
Why is broccoli healthy?

Broccoli is an extremely valuable food, containing vitamins B1, B2, C, PP, B and E, potassium, phosphorus, calcium and magnesium salts. If we consider each vitamin individually, broccoli starts having quite flattering, even enviable properties.

In terms of vitamin C content, for example, it is only slightly below lemon, while cabbage has no such hot acid.

In addition, vitamin C is found in broccoli in the form of ascorbigen and is well-preserved when broccoli is stored for a long time. The combination of vitamins C and E helps maintain eyesight – but broccoli cannot be put under the eyes like cucumbers, but it can be taken internally for the same purpose as an anti-ageing remedy.

Broccoli is ahead of sweet potatoes, asparagus, spinach and potatoes in terms of protein. Broccoli contains four times less purine, which contributes to kidney stones, than raw cauliflower.

How to preserve the vitamins?
For example, there are several ways: steaming cabbage, avoiding long thermal treatment or eating it raw.

Why is this vegetable so valuable?
· Broccoli is especially good for women because vitamin C helps maintain hair, skin, nails and beauty, and minerals help the body during PMS. Vitamin B9 helps the fetus form properly during pregnancy.
· Potassium is important for men, especially during intense physical activity. Broccoli can prevent prostate cancer and improve potency.
· Broccoli is a hypoallergenic product. In medicine, broccoli is considered one of the most valuable foods. It helps in case of the following issues: diabetes, pancreatitis, gastritis and atrophy.
